This website is run by Stogumber Parish Council. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- Change font size using the browser
- Zoom in up to 200% without breaking the layout, content or functionality
- Navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
- Navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
- Listen to most of the website using a screen reader
We strive to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability. However it’s not always possible to do so in all areas of the website. For example, where we have created video and audio, we’ve done our best to add captions and transcriptions, etc. But if we’ve embedded videos which weren’t made by us, they might not be captioned. Some of the external websites we link to may not have been tested for their accessibility.
We’re committed to making our website as accessible as possible. We review the accessibility of this website at least once a year.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
What to do if you can’t access parts of the website
This website has been tested using basic online and manual accessibility checks. If you have any additional problems in accessing content which has been tested, the Clerk will be able to discuss alternative options with you if necessary.
